  1. design a protocol for recording the variability of the...
    1. paper making sieve,
    2. it's imprint in the paper (wet and dry);
  2. discuss the possibility of such an experiment in actual paper making mills.

Elements of discussion:

  1. presentation of participants, their expertise areas and possible involvement in the experiment

  4. analog recording of sieve and imprint: reproduction matrerial, setup, protocol
  5. computer model of sieve mouvements in time and imprint transformation
  6. evaluation of the impact of imprint variability on paper expertise (measurement precission, dating and authentication)

Other topics:

  1. interpretation of radiographic images - what are the features that we see?
